Bob Delaney, former New Jersey state police officer and NBA referee, spoke at Fort Sam Houston in December 2016 about his struggle with PTSD after going undercover and infiltrating the mafia in the 1990s. His visit was part of the Army’s Ready and Resilient Campaign to help improve individual and unit performance. In their leadership roles with both the STRONG STAR Consortium and the Consortium to Alleviate PTSD, Drs. Alan Peterson and Stacey Young-McCaughan attended the event.
