Fort Hood Soldiers Wanted for PTSD Study

This news article by the Fort Hood Herald, a publication of the Killeen Daily Herald, highlights two PTSD treatment studies being launched at Fort Hood by the STRONG STAR Consortium. One features Prolonged Exposure; the other features Cognitive Processing Therapy. Both studies are delivering therapies that have proven highly effective in treating civilians with PTSD and now are evaluating the therapies’ efficacy in treating combat-related PTSD, as well as the treatment delivery method that is best suited to active-duty military personnel.
